Description
For use with our Needle Valve MAV or a CMF orifice. This spring allows the DS4 first stage to have a higher than factory IP. Consider pairing with our DS4 blanking plug for a fixed IP setting.
This spring has same dimensions as original, but but is much stronger (hence the “beefy”). It will be possible to set the IP between 174 psi /12 bar to 290 psi / 20 bar. It will no longer be possible to set an IP below 174 psi /12 bar.

When used in conjunction with our DS4 Blank Plug (for a static IP):
Our “default” first stage intermediate pressure suggestion is 205 psi / 14 bar which will give a practical depth limit of 395 fsw / 120 msw. If a deeper maximum depth is needed, the intermediate pressure can easily be increased up to to 290 psi/20 bar for a practical depth limit of 585 fsw/177 msw.
