Description
Turn your full sized Defender (or older HammerHead CCR) into the ultimate travel CCR! Each Defender CCR travel kit includes:
- You choice of aluminum or delrin mini canister
- Your choice of 2 different sizes of scrubber for mini canister (or none if you already have one!)
- Travel or standard backplate adapter with manifold mounting bracket (standard adapter only) secured using our PVC wrapped all 316 stainless steel, lightweight, streamlined clamp
- Your choice of hoses & first stage options
- 1 full set (2 x Female & 2 x Male) short Metalsub brackets – specially designed and optimized for the mini canister
- Additional male Metalsub short brackets (optional)
You choose your configuration and how much (hoses, manifold, first stages etc) you want to swap back and forth between your full size unit and your mini/travel unit.
The travel weight for the Defender CCR can vary, depending on what options your custom CCR is built out with. The table below is intended to help you approximate what those weight differences might be.
For example, if you were comparing a “standard full sized” Defender CCR (full aluminum can, 8lbs scrubber, standard BP adapter, standard metalsub brackets) to our lightest Travel configuration, you would be saving 5.1 lbs / 2.31 kg (travel weight – no cylinders, no sorb in scrubber).
